How Quaerent works
1. Anonymous reports
Quaerent is built around anonymous candidate reports describing real hiring experiences.
Reports typically include:
- type of application
- interview process
- communication and follow-up
- final outcome
Submissions are voluntary and designed to avoid identifying individuals.
2. Moderation and quality control
Before publication, reports may be reviewed to ensure they comply with platform guidelines.
To protect safety and privacy, Quaerent may review for content such as:
- personal identifying information
- harassment, threats, or targeted personal attacks
- spam, irrelevant content, or clearly deceptive submissions
Our goal is to preserve authentic experiences while maintaining quality and fairness.
3. Aggregation and insights
Quaerent does not rely on single reports. Insights are generated from patterns across multiple submissions.
- company-level trends are prioritized over individual opinions
- data is aggregated and anonymized
- more reports increase reliability over time
4. Company signals
Based on aggregated data, Quaerent highlights signals such as:
- response rates
- communication quality
- process duration
- candidate-reported outcomes
Signals are indicative patterns, not definitive judgments.
5. What Quaerent represents
Quaerent does not evaluate companies directly. It surfaces patterns in hiring behavior based on candidate-reported experiences.
This helps candidates:
- understand what to expect
- make more informed decisions
And encourages companies to:
- improve communication
- reduce ghosting
- close hiring loops more consistently
6. Why Quaerent is free for candidates
Quaerent is free for candidates because candidates are the source of the data. Revenue comes from the company side, where organizations pay for aggregated, anonymous hiring transparency insights.
Access is not conditional:
- no paywall on company pages, metrics, or insights
- no review wall: you never have to share an experience to see the data
- no advertising
Your individual data is never sold. What companies see are aggregated, anonymous metrics. Your account data is private to you.
Contributing is optional. Access is not conditional.
7. Your assistant, connected
Quaerent speaks MCP. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and any client that speaks it can read your tracker, brief you in the morning, update an application when you say so, and capture postings you paste in chat. Nothing gets marked ghosted on its own. Nothing is written without your yes. And it stays free, because companies fund the platform. Not you.
